Wilderness Wildlife Week Day 5 Schedule for Wednesday, January 16 2013 in Pigeon Forge Smoky Mountains

As day 5 of Wilderness Wildlife Week begins, the effects of the past few days rain has forced the cancellation of some of the guided hikes and bus trips into Cades Cove, but there is still plenty to see and do inside the Music Road Hotel and Convention center where lost of demonstrations and classes take place.

Now that the rain is going to slow down, a winter storm watch is in effect until 10 pm tomorrow night so expect to be able to see some snow high up on the peaks in the Great Smoky Mountains national park.

Programs to try not to miss today will be Volunteering in Great Smoky Mountains National Park which will be presented by Christine Hoyer the new volunteer coordinator, Creative Photo Editing Made Easy presented by Richard Iceland and The Story of Pittman Center presented by former park ranger and Mayor Glenn Cardwell.
